Scott Anderson — a Senior Vice President for Merrick Bank Corporation in South Jordan, Utah —  manages a nationwide consumer lending division for the bank, specializing in the recreational boating, RV and horse trailer markets. Prior to joining Merrick in 2004, Scott worked at American Investment Bank in business development and managed U.S. Bank’s Main Street branch in downtown Salt Lake City. An alumni of the University of Utah, Scott earned a degree in Business Marketing and has worked in financial services for 25 years.

Scott loves teaching and helping youth. Because he sees the incredible value of the Youthlinc organization and the positive impact it is making in the lives of refugee and immigrant youth, Scott has volunteered with the organization for the past three years, teaching financial literacy in schools in Salt Lake County. He has also volunteered with Junior Achievement of Utah, teaching courses for the last 16 years in Title 1 schools.

Outside of work, Scott loves to spend time with his family, friends and church group.  He enjoys traveling, being outdoors, playing games, watching Utah football and catching a major league baseball game.  Scott and his wife, Lisa — who live in Salt Lake County — recently celebrated 25 years of marriage and are the parents of three children.
