Youthlinc’s most powerful recruitment tool is, and probably has always been, word of mouth. When individuals who have participated in the Service Year share their experience with people who know and trust them, those individuals are much more likely to get involved. In order to leverage this powerful recruitment tool, we decided it would be great to reward those referring in some way. The Service Year Referral Program is an opportunity for anyone in the Youthlinc community to earn trip discounts or compensation for every new Service Year participant they refer.
Here’s how it works:
You tell a friend, neighbor, relative- anyone- about the Youthlinc Service Year and encourage them to register for the 2020-2021 year. For every new referral who joins the 2020-2021 Service Year AND makes their $500 deposit, you receive a $100 discount on your 2020-2021 Service Year trip cost OR a $50 check.
